Thanks! Yes, F8 is usually my starting point for birds. If I'm trying to catch in flight, I'll set shutter at 1/2000 to freeze wings and float my ISO. |

Thanks for all the comments. They are truly helping me know that I'm on the right track with my photography. Also, to be able to talk about your images allows me to train my eyes to subject matter that I may not otherwise see through the camera. Thanks again. |

I love wildlife photography, and this image. I agree with the others about blurring the background. Something to think about in the future, is try getting a little tighter on the subject. I think it appears they have gnats flying around them, and that would add more to the story. |

Nice composition! This tells a story, it's not just about the food. By adding a little bit of the other plate, it tells me you were having a meal with someone. I hope it was as good as it looks. |

I don't do much architecture, but this image makes me want to get out and do more. I like the DOF so I can see trees and yard beyond the doorway. It draws me in and makes me want to see what else is back there. Well done! |

Very interesting image. I was put off by the yellow at first, but the more I look at it, it drew my eyes to the reflections in the windows in front of and behind her. I'm really wondering what she is photographing.
You said you saturated the colors, so was there a yellow lighting cast to begin with? Interesting technique. |
