Thanks Janos,
I think the title has been changed to Ventura from Above, The peir caught my eye but, the photo is of the city of Ventura. I was not trying to photograph te peir. I just liked the light with the fog, more of a mood than a story.

I am a true beginner. I joined a local photo club and Pete has my interest on learning drone/landscape photography. I signed up for my first class in PSA. I hope to improve my skills. I realy enjoy getting out and seeing new things. Any advice is good for me.

Yes Pete,
I agree I am very bad at tittles. This shoud have been, Vetura from above, or Ventura peir from afar. I went to take pictures of the cross at Grants park but liked this image of Ventura best. I am still having a hard time framming pictures. It is very hard to see any good image on my cell phone scene outside when I am trying to keep line of sight. I will keep practicing improvement is on the horizon.

Nice shot looks very cold. I was wondering if you took any photos from the other side with the sun behind you? Taking pictures in snow looks to be diffacult to get a good exposure.Looks like a fun day in the snow,

I like your photo the colors are very pleasing. My only sugestion would be on the crop more space on the top and come in on the viewers right to between the two white buildings centering the chapel more and maybe a little on the left?
