Bob, George, I think you're both on the right track. I think I tried to force a landscape out of a iffy location (with or without the IR B&W) I think Bob's crop is a little better with more flow through the image. T. |

Let me see if I can put my notes in a readable format.

I agree with Jose. Only looking closely do I see the overlapping petals, and they all look relatively alive. I would probably have tried to include some of the later images even flipping them to keep the new on the left old on the right. Very nice job on the background. I've taken a couple of classes with Jackie Kramer but have not gotten very good at backgrounds, textures, etc. Take a look at her site if you have a minute. https://www.jackiekramerfineart.com/ |

The painters are a fairly common scene traveling Europe and a nice memory. We bought a picture from a painter in Stockholm on our trip last June. I don't have that painting with me but the style looks similar. I think the image to my eye is a little flat and I would probably start by adding some mid-tone contrast. Attached image of a pallet that may have been from this painter. |

A dramatic image with good blacks and whites. I find the sky merges with the mountains. Not sure about your darkening of the sky, but I would like to see a little more separation between the mountains and the sky. I might have tried to crop up a little from the bottom although the darker corners do help to frame the image |

Nice flower image. Good exposure and depth of field. The center placement works well for flowers and the water drops add interest to the image. I might have tried to lighten the center somewhat to bring out a little more detail. |

Very interesting image. Nice movement and it draws me in. I agree with Jose. Also, It looks like you've done some sky adjustment that at this resolutions seems to create banding between the support wires. This is particularly evident in the section where there are six (?) sections within the area where the two arches overlap on the left side of the image |

Nice image. My only suggestion is to try to minimize the halos around the antenna (not sure what they are called). Just learned a LR technique to for example with a subject and sky. Select the subject make the adjustments. Then select the sky and make the opposite adjustments. Then select the sky and make the needed adjustments. Probably a little more involved than that, but since LR does the math of the adjustments rather than modifying the pixels, the 2nd adjustment removes any artifacts created by the first before the sum of the adjustments is applied to the image. |

Thanks, Jose. Yes I agree that it is busy. Even in full resolution there is a lot of detail. |
