Welcome back. And best wishes on your recovery. This looks like a well exposed image and as best I can tell on this site, it looks to be in focus. But I wonder what is it telling me about bolts or orange cans ? |

I agree with Bob and Kirsti. It's a very nice abstract with little relationship to reality even if you know the original. I find the image tends to be a little gray and I might try to reset my white point. |

I'll pile on with everyone else. I think the posture, flow and expression are all very nice. Well timed. I do think the lighter flow of the dress needs to be emphasized. Jose has a minor point on the dark background and I agree also. |

I like the processing, both the color change and the blur - etc. I think I might get tired of looking at the unprocessed image. Jose and Kirsti have a good point about the background although I like this.

Nice shot. We just got back from Botswana, but didn't get really close to the lions or giraffes. I'm not sure of your ISO, but the background seems a little noisy. I'm running most of my images through DXO Pure Raw 5 and that does help. I feel that the ribs (?) in the lower left are still a little bright. If I'm not processing images for nature competition (stricter rules) I will normally use dodge and burn and brighten the eyes and near areas. |
