Thanks for the good wishes regarding the storms. We were incredibly lucky not once, but twice. Actually three times if you count the storm in August which passed our house. Only loss was my husband's favorite fig tree.
And yes, every time I look at the original photo I marvel that the iPhone 12 camera caught the clouds. |

Adorable shot! I love a dog in a costume!
I don't mind the pumpkin in the background since it gives the costumed dog photo a total Halloween vibe, especially because it's out of focus. But what I do find distracting is whatever is on the ground in front of the dog. I wonder if it was something that could have been moved out of the way. |

An interesting photo with so much going on although obviously the grapes are the subject.
Before I even read the above comments, I had zoomed in on the other bits and the grapes "flying" were very cool. I would have loved a zoomed in photo of those. But in the context of this photo, they were a bit distracting.
But wow, what a great subject to take photos of. |

Interesting set-up. Nice sharp image.
I noticed the fabric and wish it wasn't there. But once Jack and Steven mentioned it, that made me realize the texture of the fabric of the flower. Not sure what the answer to this would be. |

Wayne, I love the intensity of the light. It absolutely glows.
I just wish the people weren't hidden the way they are. It's a bit distracting. I wish they were totally hidden... or were in a sharper silhouette. But I wouldn't crop the photo because you need the bright side and the darker side.
Nice capture. |

I've been to a dahlia society show in Florida and it's so hard to get a good photo with the flowers in those little glass vases.
I love this edit. It highlights the flower, the contrast is great. |

The washed out bit is actually some low lying clouds. I was amazed, at the time and again now, that my iPhone was able to capture that. But I've even it out.
Also, wasn't happy with how I cloned out the golfers, so here's a version with them cropped out which makes the leading-ish lines all wrong. Perhaps I'll play with it a bit more.
Now, back to my storm prep. Second time we've been doing this in less than 2 weeks. |

When I was looking through my photos, I remembered taking the photo and thinking, "Wow, my iPhone picked up the low level clouds, not exactly fog, but clouds. So the washed out bit was absolutely amazing capture by a phone camera rather than anything else. But here it is, evened out. |
