Soft and dainty! The layers kept opening up as I looked at it more and more. Well done. . . |

THX, Wanda. It was very easy to change the color combinations from this one shot. |

Interesting approach to this Jim. Will it go into competition? If so, I'd like to hear the results. The decision to place the focal point on his hands was a good one. For me, I'd like to see more detail in the rest of the animal. The head and shoulders seem too soft and my interest dropped off with their lack of sharpness.

Wanda, what a difference from the original! good selection of post-processing tools to get this result. And, you did it all with a most favorable backdrop! |

Deb, I like your thought process here. The bird is magnificent. Your patience paid off by getting it with its wings extended. There are several distractions within the image for me:
1. the stick protruding out of its neck is a major one.
2. The debris on the right
If entered into a competition, I'd be interested in what the judges thought. |

Jim, there are technical issues with this image. It was shot for pure pleasure and not to be considered competition -ready. Having been confined to quarters in our camera club, it was fn to be out shooting anything.
Thanks for your concern. . . |
