28 Sep 23 Reply Jim, thanks for the praise. Albuquerque provides a unique experience. The Little Bees were just one of almost a hundred filling the skies. As for the scanner, I did these at my local library. I don't think it was anything too expensive but easy to use. I chose this sky because of the variety of color to enhance the balloons. I just regrouped these images from ABQ into five topics - they can be found on my website:

What a way to start - no pressure on you going forward :) At the Seatlle Zoo - that sure beats boarding a watercraft off Maine's coast to try to capture these beauties. 28 Sep 23 Comment Deborah, I am also a sucker for these older means of transportation. Can't get enough of them! Your rendition of the scene is almost a monotone I think there was more contrast and separation in the original (thanks for adding it). Also, you cropped out the end of the board which was ther ein the original. I ran it though my program and added some contrast and cropped out the small vehicle on the far left so the focus would be on the buckboards. Sep 10th
28 Sep 23 Comment Kathy, I like what you have here. I think the deep red lighthouse gives more impact to the fading moon behind it. I might consider cropping it so just he lighthouse and the moon are featured. The secondary building keeps my eye moving towards it and away from the moon and lighthouse - just my two cents. Sep 10th
