Deb, here's the blog of a friend of mine who is the ultimate "Odes Man." His images are tack sharp and he's been able to name them as well; https://porfolio.gorga.org/blog

Fun photo, Kathy. I have done a similar shoot in Boston. Sadly, current times create difficult shooting of kids having fun, especially if it's a guy (old guy) with the camera. But i'll still try. Perfect choice of the shutter speed! |

The fact that they are long-ranged takes the pressure off getting them done by a specific time. I can stop these projects at any time and be satisfied with what I have OR continue to add to the collection, my call. Thanks for the comment. |

Great detail, Sheila! Your tweaking adds more interest to the bird-in-flight. Done Alaska but not with the better lenses I have now. Maybe time to return??? |

Deborah, I'm leaning toward the original shot with the foliage around it. Also, the full length of the falls is evident. The close-up cropped look does not feel like it's as hidden as the original. I did run it through a few tools.
That being said, Iceland? Really?? Still on my life list! |

Thanks for the original shots so we can fully appreciate your efforts. I think your dodging and burning was sufficient enough to pop that snake. Kudos for hanging in there for this shot. Well done, Wanda |

Just having the patience to photograph these critters is a skill and then to nail the exposure as they do move quickly about. A friend of mine is the "Ode Man" He has hundreds in his photo collection and he's managed to identify them as well.
I'll just enjoy them from his camera and yours. |

Add me to the list of admirers as to what you did here. Rodeos are not east to shoot because no matter where you stand there are spectators opposite you - a huge distraction. But not here - they are merely a blur in the final image. |
