Joe, I think you have an excellent example of the curvature of the Earth as the horizon looks like it is bending somewhat. I'm with the group that would like to see a tighter cropping. How have you been? |

You caught a most interesting moment here, John. It's almost as if he trying to pass the sobriety field test. He does look a little soft but the story outweighs that issue. |

Another Rudd classic! Her eyes are piercing. Her positioning allows us to appreciate her headwear and her dress - amazing details in them. The background color allows the entire portrait to pop. |

THX, Joe.
Images of other peoples art is never well accepted. I would never submit these to competition UNLESS I had a unique perspective on it. So what club? |

Kathy, no need to get out this way as I am sure there are some murals not too far from you. I was surprised to see about a dozen in the next city over and a large collection in Boston. Now just need to get my stamina up for shooting them! |

Well captured, Sheila! Moose shoots can be exciting but also dangerous. Glad you got out of there safely. Despite the moose moving, you managed to get sharpness in the fur. Such detail! Amazing color on this one, I wonder if he just got out of the beauty parlor:) (today is world emoji day) |

I had nothing to do with the setting up of this mural - the artist positioned it perfectly between these windows. All I had to do was get my angle, compose, click and post process it. Thanks for the comment. |

Not only a great capture but a great memory! Thanks for the info as to what you do through post-production. I think it worked well to tell your story. I don't want to start trouble within the family but cropping out the cluster on the far left might benefit the rest of the image. My eyes kept wandering over there due to the contrast of the light within the darkness. |

Well handled, Kathy. I also like the green color within the glass as it helped to separate the glass from the background. I'm curious about the artifacts just above the glass, it looks like hair?? I'm thinking of the Don Ho classic, "Tiny Bubbles!" |

Well done, Deb! Those droplets add a little more interest to your image. You mentioned the crane was there for a while, did you get other angles? A little step to the left would get those rocks off the bird's back. Lastly, a tighter crop on the reflected rocks would give more attention to the main subject, the crane. |

Deb, I like your crop as well. Too much foreground would have lessened the impact of the horseman. Great sky!! I might be tempted to open up the shadows on the cowboy - giving us a little more info on the man.
