Thanks, Kathy. As I mentioned it was a fun shoot which was definitely out of my comfort zone as I prefer shooting things that don't move! But it was for a worthwhile group - I managed to go back for four more similar shoots. |

For me, I find both areas (the background staircase and the foreground gated area) competing for my attention. I may be tempted to remove that electric cable in the upper right corner as I found my eye being tempted by the "flashy object." |

Deborah, you have two entirely different stories here - your image of just the horses and Stu's rendition with the cowboy. Both are impressive! Lots to like in both edits. |

I agree with Sheila as that rust-colored base adds impact to the overall image. It is a good resting place for my eyes. The straightened out trunks are a bit more appealing. |

Deb, I,too, like the idea of combining the old in B&W and the newer one in color. I think it adds to the interest of the image. Great idea from Stu to bring up of the sides of the engines. |

Sheila, I especially liked the leading line you have to take my eye from the lower left all the way into those mountains. |
