17 Aug 22 Reply Right back at you, Glenn. Your wide range of topics have all been done extraordinarily. Best of luck - not that you need it - going forward! Aug 16th
17 Aug 22 Comment Peter, thanks for the accolades. I'm looking at this change as it was meant to be - time off for trying something else. I'll be back on occasion. continue to make Group 17 proud. . . Aug 16th
17 Aug 22 Comment It's all ben said. The harsh lighting on her face and the bangles are foremost in taking away from the shoot. The "wrap" looks more like a sheer curtain thrown around her and could have been placed more artistically.

No reason to stop with your model set-ups. They are proving educational for all of us!

FYI, I thought I was asking for a break from posting but it morphed into being dropped from the group. I will try to stop by to let you know I am still out here. continue to amaze us with your outstanding photography - no matter what the subject.

17 Aug 22 Comment Joe, once again I think your main intent got overwhelmed by other objects in the scene (thinking back to the boat last month). Here the rocks in the foreground are more of the story as the lighthouse is almost lost in the scene.

I have already explained to you why I'm not part of this group going forward.

17 Aug 22 Comment Sheldon, with a cloud of dust. . . it's the lone stranger! Well executed. The dust is the shot maker for me. Go ahead and sharpen the face but I thing the rider's action and the horse say it all with the dust to give us the action.

17 Aug 22 Comment Peter, a great character study here. Did you consider going B&W to cut down on the busy background?

17 Aug 22 Comment Another fine Rudd image! As usual the detail is spot on. I might consider a slight crop on the right to make it appear more deliberate and give the attention to his/her head.
