Marisa, thank you for the review on my B&W image.
Your imagery is vastly improved from your first posting in this group. It appears you are taking more time to compose and then shoot. This landscape has a very calming feel to it. As John mentioned try to remove some of the blue cast in the image. nice leading line up through the mountains to the clouds. For me, I'd crop out those foreground leaves as they add nothing to the overall image.
The challenge is on for you in next month's posting. You can do it. |

Great moment, Glenn! As the others have noted, minor tweaking is in order, specially if this will not be going into nature competition. Can't wait to see the others from the Tetons. |

Joe, what's not to like? It's newsworthy, it tells the story, and you captured the moment of interest. It's all about the chaos. Then you cap it off by going mono! Definitely photojournalistic! |

Sheldon, I'm a big fan of black backgrounds, especially for flowers. These pop off the screen because you went in this direction. What rod? I see what appears to be the stem. I'm a little bothered by the falling off of the focus on the background flowers - I know there isn't much you could do there. |

Peter you found an amazing sky for these birds and the silhouetted house. Some of our newer programs have added features to add birds to the sky, even add sky to the birds! Perhaps those birds thought that the antenna was a large
dragonfly and were going in for the feast??
Good luck in the competition and keep us posted as to how it did. . . |

John, I enjoy the simplicity of this shot. I do agree in making one or the other the dominant subject. The clouds could be tweaked to bring out some of the detail in them. I would probably tinker with the clouds a bit. |
