17 Dec 21 Comment Thanks all for the feedback. Competition judge at one club was not as impressed. He spent considerable time commenting on it. It was outscored by a B&W that had blown out whites - thinking the judge might be the problem. . . Dec 18th

Good to see you back with images and comments.

17 Dec 21 Comment Nice lead from the shore out to the horizon, Glenn. I agree with the saturation - the greens could use a toning down as well as the rocks on the left.

Fun area to shoot as most New England photographers have discovered.

17 Dec 21 Comment Well handled, Joe. I'm checking off all the boxes on this one - going B&W; the vignette giving us an antique look; Perhaps take out those globes in the two windows.

I attended the Steampunk in Waltham afew years ago and looking forward to Attleboro and Waltham this year.

17 Dec 21 Reply I think the line over the door might be reminding us of the "free public library?" Dec 11th
17 Dec 21 Comment Good selection for the backdrop and the vignette that pops the model! Rim light on the hair was fine but around the arm, not so.
Finally, the coloring on her face is very uneven - it's almost as if a separate light was aimed here.

17 Dec 21 Comment For me, there is not enough contrast in this image. I also found the railings drawing my eye from the water and rocks. You did manage an interesting sky - want to loan it to John this month? Dec 11th
17 Dec 21 Comment I think Peter hit the points well, Marisa. The sign on the left is a major distraction - clone it out. It does lean a tad.
I like the reflections.

17 Dec 21 Comment Lots of interest in this capture, John as you can see from the comments. I'm in agreement, the sky is bland and does not enhance the overall story. Also, that lighthouse almost disappears in that sky. Dec 11th
17 Dec 21 Reply Not a composite, Sheldon. Dec 10th
17 Dec 21 Comment Peter, how's this? Dec 4th
