THX, Bev.
My plans to photograph the hundreds in my area have been put on hold due to the rain and high humidity for the past months! The best laid plans of. .
There are five in your home town - here's a link for their map:

Joe, Depending on your town, I probably have it listed to be shot in the near future. I did come across one LFL that was closed for COVID. There are seven (7) LFL in your town! |

Thanks, Marisa. I was inspired by the dedication of so many people just in my area who built and contributed to this worthy cause. I only have seventy-three more LFL to photograph in my area! |

Well, Glenn, I like the original. It could use a pop in saturation as the foliage appears drab. I think the angle you chose does an excellent job in framing the river and falls. Still have a tough time finding suggestions to improve in your photography!! |

Hey Joe, I'm partial to the latter. I think the original one you posted is more about the rocks and the sky. They are well handled - I like the texture you caught in those foreground rocks. The second shot is all about the lighthouse with the rocks and sky providing support. Really like the colors captured. |

Sheldon, I'm confused as to what I am seeing here? Is this an image of a sculpture or an image of an outside setting made to look like a sculpture. Perhaps, I should Google it and find out more before I go on. I'll be back |

Marisa, i can't tell you how many images I have posted within this group over the years. Some of mine were well received while many were panned. One question stood out,
"What was it about this scene that made you want to stop and capture it?"
There is a lot of busyness going on at the bottom of the image. If your intent was the road leading up to the slope, then positioning yourself on the other side of that clump of trees would have helped. And, as mentioned, watch the tendency to tilt your camera when shooting. Your camera should have a grid that will show you when there is a definite leaning to the shot. As said this is how one grows in any endeavor but extremely important in photography. Looking forward to next month's image already. . . |

John, I do like your attention to detail in finding this small item within the boat. I like the addition of the wooden surroundings to give the artifact more stature. However, my eye is drawn to the reflection of the steering wheel on the wooden dashboard. As mentioned great detail on the silver fish. |

Peter, I do like the pose here and the look on David's face. I think the blue outfit works well with the neutral tones around him. As for the negative space, I feel if he had been in motion, the negative space would have been a plus for the composition. However, for my liking I lean toward your revised image. |

Well done, Stu. I have been playing with these "polar coordinates" for quite some time. I found that if the original was fairly symmetrical, the final image is all the better.
Makes me want to check out others for the twist! |

A beauty, Bev. Everything about her looks exquisite - except for that shiny nose. That's the first thing my eye went to - not a good thing as your Granddaughter deserve more of our attention.
Congrats to the family and the lucky engaged couple.
