17 May 21 Reply I agree. If I lived a bit closer I would make this a project of its last days of existence. I'm guessing the next hurricane or Nor-easter will determine its fate.

Thanks for checking in. See you tomorrow for "Senility Saturday!"

17 May 21 Reply Huh? Joe II, I am confused about your response. "more detail of whether the shack..." / "want to learn more whether the dock or the building is. . ."

Check out Damon Point in Marshfield for your own look-see.

17 May 21 Comment Great place for photography - been there several times.

I do like your perspective here - great lead into the middle and background areas, Glenn. Impressive sky as well! Is there a vignette applied? There seems to be a darker area to the left of the tall evergreen. I'm with Peter again on the green foliage, it appears a little too saturated. Simple fix, if that's the way you wanted it.

17 May 21 Comment Like the effect, Peter. Thanks for explaining what you did here. Those flowers in motion seem to opt the ones in focus - a sort of framing of them. I did try to up the contrast May 5th
17 May 21 Comment Ouch! I wouldn't want to meet this prickly thing without some protection. I do like the B&W conversion you chose - I think it adds to the plant's impending danger. Your focus stacking does not leave any out-of- focus areas within the plant. I enjoyed strolling through it, visually. May 5th
17 May 21 Comment Let me extend my "Welcome Wagon" to you as well.

I like the serenity of this composition. I do think it could use a little boost from some post=processing filters such as NIK. I did a quick edit on it with a tighter crop, adjusting the contrast to darken up the look, and enhanced the clouds.

17 May 21 Comment Great sunset, Joe II. I especially like how it is reflected on the shore. Again, Peter has picked out areas of concern - the uplifting of the horizon on the far right is definitely not natural. And, the dark areas of the ocean. I don't see where cropping would help here as you would lose some of that reflection on the right or that sky with a left crop. May 5th
17 May 21 Comment John, this is a great image of this bird of prey! The colors and detail within the bird are spot-on. I'm with Peter on the background, it is as dominant as the main subject. Perhaps, tone down the saturation of the green? May 5th

48 May 21 Comment Bev, it reminded me of one of those large colorful lollipops!

fun use of the post processing tools. I have been using similar ones to create this - from the original of the interior of a church.
