Well, how does anyone follow what Sheldon said and what glenn did after his comments??? I noticed similar concerns in the original but they appear to be resolved in the remake. |

Definitely a tighter crop as the surrounding greenery adds nothing to your floral. See if you can selectively sharpen the petals to bring them out more. |

There's a lot happening in this image. Perhaps, focusing on one area might increase the interest. Also, did you try a B&W conversion as well? I'd like to see it, if you did. |

Peter, I think you have raised an interesting discussion as to what constitutes "taken by the maker." We had discussions when the digital era arrived as to whether or not it was really photography. I, too, had never heard of such portrait opportunities around these parts. Loved the title, although, "Wayward Angel" would be fitting as well. I think the entire image is well composed and the lighting was well handled. I'd be interested in the feedback on this type of shoot as it pertains to competitions. |

John, I really like the symmetry that resulted in this final image. The red and the maroon colors add to the interest. Gotta try this soon - fun results! |
