Just one word, WOW!
This has to be one of the best images I have seen in my study groups for quite some time!! Yeh, maybe a little off the bottom would help but the overall impact is stunning. Keep us posted as the how it fares in competitions. Our club uses a 30 point system, so this would probably be at least a 35:) |

Always interesting to follow some of the other members in our group - their take on the image gets me thinking in other ways. Sheldon has some interesting suggestions - with his crops, you'd have a predominantly blue image with the man in pink. It would really pop the image! I look forward to see what you are posting from the other side of the world! |

Even though she is centered, I like it. Here the background is less of an issue. I do like the pose you nailed. Her clothing is my most favorite feature - very quirky. What's going on with the purple on her hands? Do you think she is an artist? Perhaps, running away from a graffiti session nearby? Oh, the stories are endless with her. |

Good eye, Sheldon! There is also a trace of a metal fence behind the critters. I spent four days at a B&B in VT which was an alpaca farm. There were dozens of them running all around. Each morning there was a parade going by our window! (see attachment) The original image looks a little soft - probably due to the complaining alpaca's movement:) I like what Dick did by eliminating the partial alpaca. Lucky you to shoot three of them with different colored coats - eliminating blending. |

An "A" for effort, Sir Richard! I,too, have been scanning old slides into digital and looking at processing them. My next venture is to digitize older pictures. Overall the image looks a little tired - definitely the result of being an old scan. The sky looks mottled so I changed it out for you. Not much else I could do for the rest of the scene though. |

An outstanding image full of supporting colors - the blues in the building and the trolly and the grays in the reflections and the street made this an interesting image for me. I did get rid of the bland (even though it was gray) sky with a more dramatic one. i also upped the contrast a tad. |

Nothing planned. We were doing some light painting in this old fort and needed a volunteer. He offered to sit while we played with a light source. I'm sure his outfit would have matched EVERY wall in that fort :) |
