17 Oct 19 Comment Glenn, there are some out there who welcome seeing the surroundings of flowers while others prefer a blackened background. I'm in the latter group - however, the hibiscus looks sharp throughout. The color is amazing. Perhaps burn down those brighter areas in the background - a very minor critique. Oct 7th

I'm trying to fill some space here as this image needs no feedback from me. Yes, it does lack the outrageous outfits of most steampunkers but it makes up for it with the pose, the location/signage and the B&W treatment. i wouldn't change a thing here. Well done, Peter!		 Oct 7th
17 Oct 19 Comment Dick, I think your colorful background helps to "pop" this image. And, having those seedlings at the end of the strands keeps me focused within the milkweed. I can feel the blowing pods in this. Oct 7th
17 Oct 19 Comment John, I, too, have been captivated by a scene in which the camera came out and I fired away. Sometimes in retrospect the original feeling is not there. I do like the patterns created by the spokes but it's the other areas within the frame that take away from it - the red swatch on the left; the darker regions lower right and the large dark splotch in the upper. I'm with Dick on this one. Oct 7th
