17 Aug 19 Reply I was at the North Rim a few years ago and watched a guy climbing over the "Do Not Go Beyond" signs to take selfies with his iPad. Fortunately he arrived just after sunrise so he was a non-factor in my shots. Aug 5th
17 Aug 19 Comment And, the reflection didn't hurt the overall impact either, Glann. Very colorful - good eye to catch it with this angle. I think the greenery on the right takes away from the shot as there was not enough of the branches to matter (left side was just right). Aug 4th
17 Aug 19 Comment Dang, Sheldon! Only a four hour drive the the south Rim! I need that much time to get to the airport and get checked in before heading that way. Your choice of a composite HDR shot was the right one. There is no loss in color, detail, or impact with this shot. Make room on the wall for it! Aug 4th
17 Aug 19 Comment Down the Rabbit Hole, Peter! Very whimsical characters here and very colorful as well. I do like the enlarged eye through the magnifying glass as it added to the story being told. i did find the overall look to be a little too much toward the comic book appearance. I would have guessed over-processing with HDR but that was not the case. Aug 4th
17 Aug 19 Comment Dick, I can see why this artwork caught you eye so that you had to pull out the camera. Been there looking at a potential image trying to find the right angle to capture it. I think the ladder would have resolved your proper angle issue. Some distractions here and there but you mentioned it was not a great photo achievement so I'll leave further critiques to you Aug 4th

Like the layers within the image; foreground of the grasses and the boat; middle of the taller grasses; and the top of the sky with clouds. Boat is extremely sharp. Overall pleasing image!		 Aug 4th
