Udayan, just visited your "Painted River" image and it's a winner. Great colors throughout. Just how did you paint that river :) |

Aw, shucks, Bev. You're embarrassing me in front of my PID 17 photo-colleagues. Thanks for the kudos. She was one cute kid and her grandfather brought her out for the day. |

Glenn, where are the rest of those wonderful birds???? Okay, this floral is no slouch. The color of the flower against these leaves pops the flower. It does appear a tad soft near the top. The droplets add to the overall impact. |

Another wonderful capture, Udayan! If this was going into open/pictorial competition, you could clone out the scooter as I, too, found it a distraction. Cropping it out might offset the symmetry. And, yes the doorway as well needs to go. This is a major improvement over the original and since you have altered this so photo-journalism is no longer a possibility, go for the clone. My quick edits are attached. . . |

I agree with the lighting, Sheldon. I especially liked the color reflecting from the stained glass window. Maybe open up some of the shadow beneath the reclining poet as there appears to be some detail there. |

Nailed this, Peter! His pose, his expression, enough of the environment to tell the story - well handled. Wouldn't change a thing. Perhaps the title to "stud muffin!" |

Dick, you didn't have anything to do with the seal placement on the rock, did you? Fun shot! Perhaps eliminate some of the upper part of the water. |

My thoughts exactly, Sheldon - the "what if" syndrome. What would you lose by moving. I think I would have sacrificed the sunburst for a full shot of the dove. Lots of shadow on the bird does take away from its impact. |

Thought I would drop by Group 48 to see what you have been up to lately, Bev. Happy Evacuation Day!
Must say, my first impression is that it is full of color! I am not bothered by not seeing her face as the story is the artist working her artwork and she needs to be looking down at it. Another bonus was the addition of her colorful chalks in the image.
I like it. . .
