I'm with Peter on this one - it needs punch IF it is being considered for competition. However, as a captured moment, it fills the bill. I suppose you could dabble in some of the available filters but it comes down to what do you want from it. Currently there are several distractions in the frame - the very dark left side; the cutting off of the track at the top; the amount of dust on the right; the flash spot in the windshields. Could these have been shot further along the track??? |

Dick, I like it - a definite wall hanger!
I like the angle you took to share this landscape. I wouldn't change a thing. Color, detail, framing is all spot-on! |

Kudos, Peter for seeing this final image! I. too, am amazed at those of you who can work with two or more images as composites. I think for a more realistic look, I'd bring in some of that smoke around the boy (his head appears a tad too sharp against the background). See what takes place around his feet and see if you recreate that for the rest of his body. |

Sheldon, I think a crop is needed to feature the Great Egret. There is enough background material to give the bird a sense of belonging. i attached my two cents. I even tilted the crop to give more of a downward glide. |

Glenn, I scoured the entire frame and could not find the bird - what gives? Seriously, this is "electrifying!" Has a "Ghost Busters" feel to it. Well done, right up there with your bird imagery. |

Left shoulder? You mean that small sliver? I did burn down her right shoulder from the original image already. |
