17 Oct 18 Comment No apologies needed - just enjoying the opportunities to get my camera and lenses out and about. Enjoyed the puns.

Thanks for the feedback - I'll try to book some non-industrial shoots in the near future, maybe!

17 Oct 18 Comment Glenn, I am submitting a by-law for Group 17 - no more incredible bird images from you!

I have cleared out an entire wall anticipating the arrival of this wall hanger!!!

Getting that leaf framing the Sabrewing was perfectly composed. Colors are amazing and the details are spot on. I could go on but I end it with the colors playing off each other - the orange flower against the green backdrop and leaves and the blue in the bird!!

When you are ready to ship this, I'll forward my address :)

17 Oct 18 Comment Thoughts of the Wizard of Oz when the flying monkeys were released from the castle to get Dorothy and Toto! The image of just the boulders in B&W would have been a "nice" capture BUT you timed a jumping creature between the rocks for another level of my interest! Oct 7th
17 Oct 18 Comment Sheldon, Milky Way for Dessert (sic) - a great image to cap off any shoot. This stellar event is well handled - but (as Udayan noted), it's those silhouetted cacti and bushes that grabbed my attention. Oct 7th
17 Oct 18 Comment Peter, you have a great a story here! Their faces are easily seen.cThe ROAD sign does not bother me as I feel it adds to the storyline.

This has a HDR look to it. I tried to bump up the contrast to get away from the comic book feel it has on my monitor.

17 Oct 18 Comment EXQUISITE, Dick!

I looked and looked to find anything that might have been out of focus on the flower - no luck, it's sharp throughout. The colors were amazing as well. A definite consideration for wall hanger!!!

17 Oct 18 Reply Stephen, the monochromatic rendition lacked the pop that came from the brass color. Oct 7th
17 Oct 18 Comment John, great composition here. The deep reds against that blue water was enough to get my attention. Then you added those red round objects framed by the railings!! Simple but powerful.

If this goes into competition, I'd like to hear about the comments. . .
