Watch got planned for the next Bunker Hill Day, Bev? We could meet at the Bunker Hill Monument even :)
Thanks for checking this out. |

Sheldon, thanks for stopping by my website and Bodie. The remaining buildings are in "arrested decay." The state of CA has total control over the site allowing the buildings to age naturally - only making repairs that would impact safety. I believe what I saw was what was left by the last residents. Only two buildings and the mill were open to the public. I do hear that there are times when the buildings are open for evening shoots - I was not there at that time. |

Peter, after further review, perhaps HDR-like was a little strong and I should have leaned toward more of a painterly feel. |

Glenn, count me among those who thought the wing movement added to the story but I can see where Dick is coming from. Getting the right judge is essential.
My monitor is showing a slight green cast to the overall image. Could you scale that back just a tad? That might clear up concerns about foregrounds?? Or, not.
Enjoying your Costa Rica imagery. . . |

Mixed feelings here, Ursula. I like the color and detail on the floating kitchen but wanted to see more of the other boat. I felt there was enough going on within the main boat to carry the image.
As mentioned, a great travel photo. |

Sheldon, I like the arrangement you presented here. The dominating tree in the foreground sets the mood for the rest of the capture. Detail of the lead quiver tree and the ground around it is very sharp.
I do a daily nature posting on Fb with my camera club and have maintained a website for many years - www.JoeKennedyPhotography.com
Thanks for reminding me as I have some updating to do there. . . |

Peter, I like the viewpoint you gave us. We can now readily see what may have caught her attention - the activities on the other side of the pond.
The overall image almost looks like it has been processed as an HDR. The tonality seems a little surreal on my screen. |

Spent an afternoon here a few years ago - so much to capture on my camera. This is a great shot, Dick. somehow, I missed the stump. I do like the space between the aforementioned stump and the rock on the left - this allowed me to freely move into the background.
Colors/colours are really rich! |

"Branching out, eh John?"
Despite not seeing much detail in the head, the body fur looks tack sharp. Branch at the top kept me focused on the main subject.
Thanks for the chuckle today. . . |

Thanx, Peter. Perhaps Star Wars XXIII will want it for the opening credits :) |

Thanks, John. Cropped to lop off a not-so pleasing left side. Good eye. . .

David, thanks for dropping by and the feedback.
This one started me onto this zooming technique. I call it, "Nubble Lite Brite@"

Sheldon, I tried to back track to find this angle without the zooming. This is about the closest i could find.
Thanks for the comments. |

More of a steady hand to keep the zoom twisting smooth rather than the sturdy tripod.
Thanks for the feedback, Sir Richard! |

Bev, the rich tones in the wall allow the mourners to be of greater focus. Like what you did with the processing here - the pano look suits it well.
Let me know when you plan this field trip - never been there. |
