Sheldon, our images are posted through John Hackett. I won't add his email here. He will be contacting you for March. All images need to be sized 1024 x 768 sRGB.
Looking forward to what you have to share. . . |

Welcome to the group, Sheldon. Several days in the area did not produce a better sky, so I went with this one. I tried not to over-process the image to avoid bringing in other more negative elements.
I guess we will be seeing your imagery on the next round, right?

An Award Winner, Glenn!!!
Great flow from the stem on the left into the floral and the hummingbird! The colors are an added bonus - both in the flower and the bird.
A wall hanger, for sure. |

Ursula, it is such a beautiful flower, especially in color so i feel going B&W is an option on most images but not here. i have a large garden of lotus flowers a few towns over where i have photographed on several occasions. i find the bright yellow interior surrounded by those pink petals truly defines the flower.
Your shot here appears a little soft and you have a merge near the top. Dick already mentioned the artifacts in the background - easy enough to remove, if so inclined. |

With this kind of a sales pitch, I don't know how you resisted buying the carpet!
A great character study. your attention to the surroundings helps to further identify this man and his work. I was able to look onto those shelves at his materials.
I see Dick pointed out issues with HDR and sharpening - need to keep that in mind. |

Dick, the Palouse is on my lifelist! Just a matter of when to schedule it. I do like your thought to keep the foreground flora in focus. The colors of the rolling hills are mesmerizing!
Not sure what that was on the far right - a ridge running through the hills?? Looks like a seam??? |

John, I have mixed emotions on this one. Glad to see these memories of the past were not discarded but found a place on a tree! I do like the choice of subject but not sure if it is leaning or straight. Also, the cut crosses on the left were a minor distraction for me. It also looks a little soft. |
