Wiley Coyote appears to be popping off my screen! The interaction between the roadrunner and the background almost looks not natural. Did you selectively isolate the bird from the background?
And, aforementioned tail is noticeable. |

Kim, excellent capture here! I learned the other day that the babies have orange eyes - yours are true to color!
I like the fact that you have sharp focus on the front. All too often there is so much emphasis on the ospreys that we neglect the frontage - which then becomes a blur and a major dsitraction. Here the twigs/sticks are spot on! |

Capturing a moment in our history.
The fact that you decided to go monochromatic definitely added to the overall impact! You managed to add artifacts that allow us to know what is happening here. Living history well done, Peter! |

Dick, I agree with Peter about the added bonus of the little green bug, it certainly adds to the overall image. i was not bothered by the browning of the petals as I was looking at the exposure and the detail of the image.
Although you handled the background well, that front leave is soft and a distraction to me. |

Alas, Bev. It's time to get the eyes checked as Crissy is far more interesting than that trash can, right Guys??
Thanks for adding comments. . . |

John - an interesting interaction with a great story! That "whatever" seems totally unfazed by the magpie despite being a few fibers short. Like how the main subjects are filling the frame and the green background is popping both characters. Detail appears sharp. |

Peter, the model shots were done inside this abandoned factory. Sorry, no posing with the trash can. . .
Here are two of her. |
