Glenn, great use of your patience filter - you certainly waited this one out for a great shot. Trust that no frostbite set in.
The lighting on the mountain tops and the placement of the moon made this a winner. |

Ursula, even though you did not get all four hooves off the ground, the disturbed dirt gave me a sense of motion. Unfortunately the background does not offer much support - especially that white fencing. Can you tone it down?
There is a horse show in my area that has jumping areas very much like what one sees on the Olympics. |

Kim, 3600 ISO??? Impressive!
Wonderfully done. This has a 3-D look on my monitor - especially the incoming osprey. It literally pops off my screen. I think the softening of the background helped to launch this bird. And, the interaction between the two birds tells a story that impresses the competition judges. |

Dolores, I do like your viewpoint here. The bench framed by the window and flowers is simple but powerful. I liked the connections between the patches of pink in the walls and the flower color.
Well handled.
Should I order one of those chains for you - they are quite heavy:) |

Dick, my first reaction to this was, "we're off to see the Wizard. . ." This could easily have been in the area around the Emerald City. I did look for the yellow brick road.
Seriously, for me, it was the sunset and the contrast with the foreground. |

I'm with Dick. I was somewhat surprised to see my comments not among those listed. Fortunately I had them on a saved document.
John, congrats on seeing this piece of architecture. I know I would have walked right by it. I am having a problem seeing the coinage in the structure. It appears to blend in well with the surroundings. I am glad you did not opt for monochromatic as it would have been nearly impossible to see much. |
