Dolores, offend me? Have to try a lot harder than that!!
I was hoping your "guy" thing became a reason to bypass an image. Then I could use the "gal" thing on flowers :)
I'll try to keep my industrials at a minimum. . . |

Dolores, this should not be a "guy" thing but rather an appreciation of the image taken. Its composition and technical appeal should far outweigh the "guy" thing.
Get ready as I have about twenty more of these "industrial" images. |

Glenn, I was hoping also to see the shot of you on the floor1 I'm sure you attracted quite the audience. This is the reward for looking up and quite the reward at that. The colors are amazing!
When I first opened the image my eye was drawn to the line just off left-center. I did take this through PS and made a square to eliminate the line. I think I captured enough of the artist's work. I did not even attempt to play around with the colors. |

Ursula, your decision to change the background greatly enhanced this beautiful rose!
The layers (petals) within the flower are well handled and had me looking in and around them. My eyes did not want to leave too soon. Thanks for sharing this. |

Kim, it looks as if you were standing right in from of their nest! The nests in my neighborhood are so far away that any shot would be not worth it.
But yours is a winner! I like the lighting on the left heron and through the grasses. Can't find any flaws with your sharpness. You certainly captured the moment, Kim! |

Whimsical depiction of this Chaplin model! I like the full face approach you chose to share with us. Also the bit of color on the left helps to accent the model's face. I am not bothered by the right side as I felt the tonality here was not competing with "Charlie." Great capture, Dolores! |

Dick, you are forgiven - Hawaii was more than enough of a location. I used to have time share at Hanalei Bay for about ten years. Always looked forward to a return trip to explore Kauai.
I do like the layering here - the detail from from to back looks sharp. The placement of the horse adds to the interest of that middle area.
On my monitor, the trees in the middle and over to the right as well as the shrubs in the foreground appear a tad over-sharpened. |

John, this image has the look and feel of something from the WW II era - going monochromatic and the subject matter. For me it was all about the steam and the young man on the platform. The steam blurs out what is less important and has us focusing on the train while the young man is standing ready to do his job - looks like soot on his clothing. |
