Kim, my photo colleagues covered much of what I was going to say. The darkness in the temple was a major concern for me. While the tree trunk on the left does keep me in the frame, its hanging branch was a bit of a distraction.
I wish you had posted your camera settings and mentioned a tripod or not. |

What's not to like with this capture, Glenn? As mentioned the colors are amazing and the background only adds to their popping off my monitor.
I liked the angle of the wings which spoke of action - they also tie-in well with the stretched out tail! The details appears very sharp.

Dolores, as you stated, space was at a premium but the angle you had to shoot really makes the mannequin stand out! Catching the neckline at this angle brings the eye to the head and the details there. Looking forward to seeing "her friends."
A small distraction for me was the rafters/beams just above her head. I know you did not have much of an opportunity to get around them. |

Certainly lives up to its name, "Grand Valley." Where is this, Dick? I liked the layering effect with a strong foreground of the fallen trunk, rocks of the left adding to the middle area and the valley and sky for a well composed background.
I also appreciated the small entry just beyond the end of the tree trunk - I was able to sneak in here to get to the rest of the valley! While the color version is impressive, the monochromatic one is a winner for me!!! |

Ursula, thanks for the feedback. Since this was the first time I had this camera out, I was relying on Auto WB and auto for a lot of other areas. My only disappointment was not being able to increase the shutter speed as this beautiful bird flew right in front of me with the squirrel in tow! |

Great pose, Ursula! You handled the background well as it gave me a place for this tiger without taking away from the animal. The detail and the colors are spot on. |

Like your composition here, John. Several elements add to my overall impression - the leading line of the train drawing me to the rear and onto the overhead bridge; adding the conductor helped to fill an otherwise empty platform; and, the space in front of the locomotive allows it to come into the frame. |

Bev,
Kudos on the efforts in post-processing! I would not know where to start. However, these statues do appear static on several fronts. As mentioned the lack of shadows gives them an unnatural look. Also, the background is too busy for the designs on the cats. Something plain would allow the cats to stand out. |
