9 Mar 24 Comment Sabine, very interesting sculpture that looks like an elder with frowned eyes who wants to silence youth, which to me is represented by the blossom. Makes for an interesting story. I like the original photo with a its background and reflection of the sculpture and blossom on the table. But, I also like the focused lighting on the beautiful colored blossom (which I think would improve the original image) and how the filter does frame both the sculpture and blossom. Tough decision which one I prefer. Very creative composition and nicely done. Mar 19th
9 Mar 24 Comment As Yvonne commented above, I didn't realize the person was the same individual until I looked more closely. What a great idea and What patience you and your daughter have to create this image. I've never layered an image, so I don't know what's involved in processing, but to maintain focus and sharpness as you did across this image is impressive. I agree with Sabines suggestions for future shoots, and would add that maybe each shot be in a different random position with a different facial expression. Regarding this image, I would crop the image to eliminate the cove molding that appears at the ceiling and wall, and to add a little more space between your daughter and the edge on both the right and left side of the image. Fun photo to look at Sylvia, great job. Mar 17th
9 Mar 24 Comment Yvonne, this image does make me smile. The pipe and panel are not really distractions to me knowing you might expect to see these kinds of thinks in architectural wall murals anywhere. Background sharpness would enhance the overall image I think. The relaxed posture of your nephew as he stares at the painting reminds me of the innocence and curiosity of a child. Overall, tells a great story. Really enjoy this image Yvonne. Well done. Mar 17th
9 Mar 24 Comment Doug, very interesting story indeed. Really nice contrast with the evening sky and background trees and really like the architecture of the front entrance door. I played with your image a little using Lightroom's Transform in the Develop module regarding parallel lines without much success. I also used a mask trying to bring some detail back into the bright hot spot on the edge of the sidewalk without success. I like Sabine's crop as well.
A little concerned since we haven't heard from you since your Thursday dinner date...hope all is well!

9 Mar 24 Comment Linda, everything is in focus and sharp. The collective group of lines, shapes and colors in this image grabs my attention, but its the shapes and transparency of the glass ceiling revealing the beautiful blue sky, white clouds and skyscrapers that keeps me fixated on this image. Initially, I thought the advertising screen was a little distracting to me, but realize its also part of the story. I have nothing to add that I think would improve this great image. Mar 17th
9 Mar 24 Comment Your second rework is another interesting point of view and the more I look at it, I think removal of the tile might be better yet, but the vignette is adds more to the image, I think. I will work on this image explore your recommendations even more. Thanks again Sabine, your comments are much appreciated. Mar 14th
9 Mar 24 Reply Thanks Sabine. I didn't realize how elements of the image did compete with each other until I read your comments, which I agree with. I like the crop you made, leaving just enough of the tile at the bottom of the image to make it interesting, maybe even eliminating the tile altogether. Mar 14th
9 Mar 24 Reply Thanks Yvonne, still lots to learn about AI and the tree in this image would be a real challenge. Still get Mesmerized by some details (color, shapes, etc) and sometimes miss the obvious when taking photos. Mar 14th
