Thank you! I have to smile, I was in a bird group for a bit, and one of the members always suggested that I use a tighter crop :)
I think typically I like space around my subjects but I could see that in this image removing the space about the flower could be a good thing. |

Thank you! I like your edit as well. I need to try playing with the sliders in lightroom more. |

Randy, this is very nice!
I also find moon shots hard. This one if very good, I love the reflection. |

Very well done! Gorgeous image. I need to remember to look at my photo details in the future. I have been trying to 'nitpick' or find something I might do different with everyone's photos - but I can think of nothing else to try. This is photography goals - the starburst on the water droplet - wow.
thank you so much for sharing your process. I never think of things like underexposing my image to reduce blown out highlights or using much of the stuff you did in post. I need to remember these things! |

Very well done. I hear a band playing Stars and Stripes in my head! I can feel the excitement. I love that they are lined up perfectly - shortest on the ends to tallest in the center - all with the same pose. Was that your doing?
Great storytelling! |

Beautiful! I too am becoming more enamored with monochrome. As you have illustrated, it gives most photos the look of fine art. I love the symmetry, flowers on either side, the glass surrounding the door, the steps and railing leading up to the door. Both the house and photo are very nice!
I think this photo is great. To give you some feedback, the crop is a little problematic for me. There is more room on the left than on the right - but if you cut off more on the left it looks like that would cause other problems.
Additionally, I am not sure about the branches on the right side - I don't know if they give the photo character or are distracting. If I had not seen the original I am not sure I would know what they are. |

Yvonne, I think you captured this flower beautifully! I think it is great as it is. I think I would prefer the background in photo labeled original if the flowers on the right were not so distracting. |

Sabine, as usual your photo is inspiring me to try something new! I do like what I see. I would not have guess that these were flowers in ice. I have no answers for you, but I do want to try it. how did you keep your flowers from floating? |

This is beautiful! I love how the lights reflect on the fight side. Very clever is your box outline with the stems extending over the border. Very well done. |

Very cool! I love what you did here. I thought at first that you swapped out her makeup brush for a pencil and that someone was drawing the eye on paper. |
