I did not like having the road in my photo at all, but the gates are so close to the road, and the road curves here, this is what I have. |

I hope you enjoy your trip! I was visiting my daughter and her family so photography was not the main focus. |

Well done, Randy. I find shooting indoors like this to be difficult. I too like the arches against the right angles of the artwork and entry door as well as the colors of the art against the plain wall. |

Jim, I think this is a beautiful scene! For me, your adjustments are spot on.
My eye is first drawn to the lighthouse, but then it keeps getting pulled to the left to the piece of land jutting out. It seems to be little higher then where the lighthouse sits, and for some reason that is distracting to me. |

Wow! I did think it was the tower with a stream going under it. While I'd love to see the Eiffel Tower, I have not, but was still confused how this could be. EXCELLENT use of your iPhone and fantastic creativity!
It is also confusing to me that there are no people in the photo. |

Douglas, this is a beautiful photo of a princess! You definitely captured the beauty of the dress. I too would like more space on the right - a space for the women to walk into. |

And just to see what would happen, I used the remove tool in lightroom. I do not like this as much as your original as I see it as a fake, but it is interesting what that remove tool will do. |

Yvonne, what an amazing opportunity! Both to capture a bit of history, and well, to get to photograph an abandoned church.
I think the lighting helps tell your story. It is an old building that has seen better days. It is too bad that the priest was not standing in the bit of light :)
Did you try the denoise function in lightroom? I wonder what effect it would have on the raw image.
I decided to play too as I wondered how it would look all B&W except the stained glass window. I tried to do this in LR but couldn't figure it out, so a did most of this in Photoshop.

Sabine, this is gorgeous! Great pan - I've tried ICM and I do not get the same results. I love that the wave coming in, with the light, seems to form two triangles. |

Nice abstract - and it does show movement like an incoming tide. I am not familiar with deblur filter so I'd love to see your original so I can see the difference.

Very interesting! The blending is very well done. I love that you faded the edges. |

You are so creative! Getting your final image from one leaf is talent. I will need to try the twirl filter. Putting the faded leaves behind really adds to the composition. |

I love what you did here.
I agree that for me the nose area seems a little wonky. I love the tree going up the right side of his face - perfection! |

I am going to see if I saved my work and can take the flag out.
