The critter's expression here says it all, he seems so pleased with himself. I really like the lines in this image, the colors are enhanced by the light and shadows. The overall effect is interesting and pleasing to the eye. An awesome photo.

I always find GBH such fun to watch, they always seem so intent on their mission. Great capture and detail in the bird and the fish. A good story in this image, the bird certainly got perhaps more than he expected. I have to agree with Mike's suggestion of toning down just a little.

What a great shot, right place right time and it tells the story. The otter certainly seems extremely pleased with himself. I have to agree about the background, I too find it rather distracting.

This beautiful image stirred such feelings of hiraeth in this Welsh girl. The muted colors in the distant hills enhance the vibrant colors and textures in the foreground. All make for a wonderful landscape image, a wall hanger for sure.

What a wonderful image, Mother's love simply can't be beaten. I try to not read the comments from others first, but in this case I did, and have to agree with Mike the mother's back legs seem to add nothing to the overall image and so I liked his rather extreme crop. But of course it is subjective, and what the photographer likes. However it is fun to experiment.

The beautiful colors of this image is so soothing, and I like the contrast in the texture of the rock, I confess at first I thought the horizen was off, but realized it was the position of the wave that gave that impression. I learned that some time ago when photographing sunrise over the ocean, and being told by my husband that the ocean does not run down hill. We did figure out it was the wave coming in at an angle that made it so. I do find the piece of driftwood a little distracting. but perhaps not enough to warrent removal. A great image

Thank you for your kind comments Judith, these birds are such fun to feed and watch, One flew down to the seed I was carrying till it realized what I was. It does seem that this log has become a favored feeding station, although there is not much room for too much seed.
Thank you again and wishing you Happy Holidays |

Thank you Mike, I will experiment with your suggestions. I am still quite a beginner in LR and PS, so everything I do is really by trial and (mostly) error. If I make mistakes, that is how I learn. Also thanks for your kind comment about the logo, my daughter designed it for me.
Wishing you very Happy Holidays. |
