52 Sep 24 Reply Thank you Sharon for your kind comments. I am in your camp and will think a little more about this image before doing anything else to it. I have cloned out the shadow on the image, but am still considering whether I want to lighten the head and beak.

52 Sep 24 Reply Thank you Judith, I have heard several different takes on this image. One friend said she thought, given my background in ballet, it was a dancer preparing to go on stage as the swan queen,

52 Sep 24 Comment Wow, an interesting image, One almost feels you could step right into the scene. I like what you have done with the sky, The original actually reminds me of how the sky can be in the UK. you have made the entire image more vibrant. I realy like it. Nice job Sep 5th
52 Sep 24 Comment A great example of light and shadows in this really good photo. The play of light gives texture to the brickwork, along with the shadow of the leaves there is much more of a 3D effect rather than a flat image. Great job.

52 Sep 24 Comment A striking image, I really like the way you have edited it, and made the background much less busy. With the berry in the bird's beak you have a nice story here. When the Waxwings visit us on their spring migration, they stop in my yard for a very short time providing the Loquat has some fruit.

52 Sep 24 Comment I like the serenity of this image and the way the colors reflect in the water. I do like the way Mike changed the hue in the color of the sky. However I prefer to see a little of the beach area too, just to add a little contrast, perhaps a little less than in the original image. Well done.

52 Sep 24 Comment This is such a great subject, I really like it. I am in agreement with Mike on reducing the exposure on the nest, it seemed much brighter than the original. You managed to disguise the chainlink in the background, but the area to the right of the nest might look better if you did the same, for me it was a little distracting. Great job.

52 Sep 24 Comment I really like this image, and the way you have cropped and edited. It is sharp and crisp, with the fine hairs on the animals head very visable. The animal looking toward you makes for great composition. Nothing needs doing to this nice photo.

52 Sep 24 Reply Hi Mike,
Thank you for your kind comments and suggestions, I will work more on them, I managed to clone out shadow on the upper right it did not pose a problem, but with my limited editing skills I was not sure abut the leaves, it did not come out as I would have liked. However that being said, it is something for me to work on, and hopefully gain more editing skills.
