52 Mar 24 Reply Thank you Sharon, each time I have been there this is where he seems to wait in anticipation of one of the fishermen tossing a fish at him or back into the water. He is entertaining to watch. I truly prefer him being on the handrail, and as I have said earlier I think I will do a little more editing and leave the handrail. I think it is, as you said, the story. Mar 24th
52 Mar 24 Reply Thank you Ally, I am in agreement with you and others who prefer the original. Perhaps a little more work on it would make it better. Mar 24th
52 Mar 24 Reply Judith, thank you, I actually really prefer the original, and I think I will just try cloning out the water. THe handrail actually has been his favorite spot each time I was there. so I feel there was really not a need to remove it. Mar 24th
52 Mar 24 Reply Thank you Pamela, I must be honest the water did not distract me since it was part of the scene. I am going to do some more work on it and try to clone out the water and leave the handrail, since each time I have been there, that seems to have been his favorite place to perch while waiting for the fishermen to toss him some fish. 52 Mar 24 Reply Thankyou Mark, I confess untill it wast pointed out, I did not find the water a distraction, I like your suggestion of cloning a different perch. or I might just leave the railing in and clone out the water.

52 Mar 24 Reply Thank you for your kind comment Polly, I like your suggestion and will try that. Mar 24th
52 Mar 24 Comment Your images never fail to amaze me Mike, the energy and drama of the Everglads comes through. I really like this great image of this snag. and they the way you have brought out the colors. I do have to wonder if the water line is slightly running down hill, it could of course be my eyesight, which is not the best these days. But to me this is the Everglades at its very best. Mar 15th
52 Mar 24 Comment An interesting image, very dramatic. The colors are vivid and I too noticed the halo on the leaves, which I confess looked rather like the boxing gloves my brother used to hang after a fight. I rather liked the background in the original image, but liked the way you handled the crop, and think as art glass it would be terrific.

52 Mar 24 Comment Welcome to the group Polly, I really like the feeling of bonding between mother and pup, you have captured it well. You have cropped well, but I would have like just a little more of the mother's head, as Ally said. That would be the only thing to change other than that it is a great photo. Mar 15th
52 Mar 24 Comment The leading lines in the path and the wavelets took my eye into the scene. I like the dramatic feeling of an impending storm in this image, I would agree with Mike on trying in B&W which would give even more drama I believe. There is nothing else I could suggest that would make this any better. Mar 15th
52 Mar 24 Comment this tells such a story, the animal searching for its next meal. I really like the way it has been cropped, but not too much to detract from the surroundings, which in their own way add to the story. This is a keeper, and I would not change anything. Mar 15th
52 Mar 24 Comment I really like this image, when first looked I thought perhaps it was snow, but a closer look, and then at your narrative, I realized what it is. The edited version is to my eye, stunning, and Like Ally think done on canvas this would be perfect. Mar 15th
