A truly inspiring image with great story. No need to tell it, I can picture a nest not too far away, and a female calling almost continuously. OK I have seen and heard this so often. There is nothing that needs changing in this perfect scene. Awesome. |

I really like the monochromatic effect here, it adds a sense of drama, and a cool winter's day. I agree that slight cropping to remove the cut off birds. To my eye, there is nothing more need be done. a great image. |

I really like the splash of yellow the flowers in the foreground offer. A contrast to the rather overpowering sky. Perhaps cropping some of the sky out would enhance and also move the horizon to give a more pleasing effect. Also the horizon seems a little tilted. All that said, the entire scene has such an uplifting effect. well done. |

What a lovely tranquil well composed scene. I particularly like the ripple in font of the rock. I did notice the slight halo over the rocks, something I have been corrected on quite a few times. I do like the colors in the sky, and found in the original image that the sky in the foreground seemed to dominate, instead of enhancing the overall effect. All together a beautiful image. |

Very nice action from the large swan in this image. I always enjoy watching swans, but know from experience how dangerous those wings can be. I do agree about the separation from the background, but as you say if you are entering this image you cannot do that. There is such great definition in the wings, and eyes, I can almost feel their strength. Great job. |

My apologies for not answering all sooner, I am not sure where Jan has gone. I appreciate all of your comments and have taken a few moments to do the suggestions made. I do have a little more tweaking to do and will take it to our LR workshop to finish it. I used PS remove tool to remove the post, and I believe my Sony a9ll, was the camera of choice that day. with a Sony 280mm FE lens.
