I must confess, I honestly prefer the original, which to me has a much more pleasing effect. I like the way the trunks curve, giving that feeling of reaching up to the sky. I confess to seeing a very slight blue fringe, however can honestly say I don't find it at all a distraction. Great photos.

Nice shot, In the past having watched such interaction between birds, I can only imagine what they are communicating to each other. I think the only thing I would do, is to add a little light to the eye of the bird on the right, he seems a little dull in comparison to the other bird. Well done. |

I have to agree with everyone else's comments. I think this is a great photo and would be thrilled to take get such a shot.
It would be nice to get he breath showing, but there is always another time.

I really like this Purple Gallinule. I missed a similar shot at LaChua a while ago. I actually like the purple flower and feel that adding another would detract rather than enhance the image. I cannot find anything that needs to be edited. Great image. |

Thank you all for your comments, I agree that the whites are blown out somewhat. To get critiques like this is exactly why I have joined the group.
I hope you will excuse my late response (s), I have been without a computer (My laptop is in for repair) for almost a month. I am trying to get my new laptop up to date with all from my other laptop. |
