I had been chatting with another member recently, and we both said we only wanted to put our very best photos here. Both know that it is not the best thing to do when one is trying to improve ones skills. I had hoped that this picture would get the comments it deserves, that yes it is over sharpened which is something I need to remember not to do. I really appreciate your comments. |

An interesting visual, I love the patterns the crop has created. Like the others, I think a little less noise would be more visually pleasing. While I know some people are not into abstract, I love to ponder over images like this. |

I am lost for words with this stunning image. (Along with being a little envious) The cropping and subdued background have been well done. With the subjects being the main focus (excuse the pun,) there is nothing that distracts the viewers eye, except perhaps the wondering what that beautiful cheetah was staring at so intently. A wonderful story in this image, Well done. |

Wow, what a great scene you managed to capture. glad those hippos were sleeping. I love the bird in this image, he has quite an evil look in his eye. I must confess, I prefer the more subdued colors of the hippos in the original, but that is just my humble opinion. Well done.

Hope by now you are over the effects of covid, and feeling healthy again. I love the composition of this family image, although I feel sorry for the little gosling, (and hope he was rescued easily,) it add a little drama to the otherwise serene scene.
There is nothing I can find that might need adjusting. Well done.

I really like this image, the great reflection and water drops. Flipping it makes such a difference making it easier on the eye of the viewer. I like the way you have adjusted the color, particularly the blue of the water. My only nit, is the small section between the bird's tail feathers, it does not seem to be the same hue as the rest of the water.
The overall effect of this is a well composed picture. Well done. |
