A good photo Mike, good composition. I like the glow you have added, the only thing that really detracts, for me at least, is the almost stark line between the glow and the blue area. Again this is just my opinion, it makes it seem as though it was photographed with an artificial backdrop. Since I am still a novice at PP, I do not know if there is a way of softening that line, so can make no suggestions.

A lovely flower image, although I liked it, found it a little unnatural, then I looked at the original image, to be truthful I found that to be the one I really liked best, since nothing detracted from the subject. After reading Mike's comments, and looking at the image again, I agree that it is the yellow behind the stamen that bothered me. In several places I see a little halo effect too. I am constanly being made aware of it in my images, and tend to notice it more often now. It is still a nice photo.

Haven't seen chipmunks for so long, so I was drawn to this nice photo. My only suggestion would be to darken the grass in front of the animal it tends to draw the eye first instead of the subject. A great shot.

What a great image. I love the vibrant color in the starfish, have seen them in tide pools, and marvelled at how colorful they are.
I have no suggestions, nothing to be changed. Great capture. |

I really like this image, it shows such a tender moment. I have to agree about the twig, I remove it in PS. Overall the processing works so well. Nice shot. |

Thank you Mike for your kind comments and suggestions. I will try them. I am still learning LR and PS, so often don't get the look I really would like. However it is a fun learning experience, even if I don't always work out the way I would like. Iechyd da Ann
