52 Jun 23 Comment This truly is beautiful, the colors are so lovely, the whole effect sings of spring. I confess I find the out of focus flower in the left corner a little distracting, perhaps cropping would work. That being said, it is a lovely photo. Jun 11th
52 Jun 23 Comment Wow!! a great capture. I love seeing these majestic birds. The bird is sharp, with clear eye, and good catchlight in it. I just read the other comments, and agree that desaturating the sky might make this easier on the eye. With the nice blur on the tree trunk, the branch on the left side being sharper, is a bit distracting, as does the branch in the right corner. Nevertheless, a good image. Jun 11th
52 Jun 23 Comment A tranquil scene, The sky is dramatic, but for me it detracts a little from the overall effect. Maybe a little more contrast in the hillside, the greys make it look a little too somber. I know from experience, even slate hillsides in Wales, although grey, can have some very vibrant colors in the right light. All that saidm, I really like this photo.

52 Jun 23 Comment What a great capture, the chicks with their mother. Getting rid of he mossy cluttered background really made the nest pop. but the brightish green background I find a little distracting, perhaps try toning it down a bit. Even with such a high ISO, Topaz did a good job of reducing the noise. Well done. Jun 11th
52 Jun 23 Comment I really like the way you captured this shot, It certainly does look as though the bird is looking right at you. You got the catchlight in his wye, and caught the movement well. Not an easy bird to catch in flight. Well done.

52 Jun 23 Comment Great action captured in this Mike and he water droplets complete the story. The dodging and burning you did to the background works well, I like the way it makes it far less distracting, enhancing the action of the bird. We are so lucky to be able to see so many different birds here in Florida, particularly the wading and shore birds.
