9 Jan 26 Comment Thank you Stephen - I was hampered by the exhibit and couldn't maneuver too well - regardless - your advice is great and I'll try it next time!

Take care,

9 Jan 26 Comment Hi Randy,

I share your learning curve. The brightness of the front slope does detract from Mt. Hood but it's not a job for cropping because you'd lose too much of the river and road leading to it.

Truly - the Pacific Northwest is one of the most beautiful parts of the country. I can even smell the air in your photo!

9 Jan 26 Comment Never have I ever heard or attempted this! Quite amazing and what a wonderful finished image. Somehow I feel like I'm back in Woodstock in a sea of tie-dye!

Thank you!

9 Jan 26 Comment You have a creative eye for arranging your still life's - I'm very impressed with how well you put them together!

One thing that I am enjoying is the draping of the fabric in front. I like the graceful softness juxtaposed with the somewhat harsh metallic finish of the bells and the ragged edge of the book. The collection of surfaces with the shiny finish on the vase and berries completes the look.

9 Jan 26 Comment I'm really torn between the two photos! I like them both so much! The each provoke slightly different feelings but both keep your great nephew's wonder front and center - although - I agree with you, the monochrome does it better.

As for AI - I'm totally engaged with ChatGPT and have started uploading photos of mine that I like and asking "Chaz" (yes, I've named mine) how to improve it in Lightroom. It's amazing. I get specific steps, sliders, exact stops, and then I upload that image and Chaz gives it the once over.

I don't agree with every single change - but things come up that I never thought of. Suggest it to all of us!

9 Jan 26 Comment I like Sylvia's observation of the 3 tiers and think the yellow glow was a stroke of genius or luck - either way - add another dimension to the photo. My only nit is the glaring spot light from the building on water. If that was calmed down a bit it would allow my eye to take in the tower and drift down to the water. Jan 10th
