Thanks Randy,
I didn't think about returning until it dawned on me that since I had her permission to photograph her it wasn't time-dependent and I wanted her not to know I was taking it. |

Thanks Jim -- one of my strong interests in photography is human subjects in industrial settings. This fit well with that. |

I only use Lightroom to modify photos -- I haven't learned anything else and want to delve deeper into it.
Thank you! |

Thank you! I like your edits -- and no, I didn't use a filter just played in Lightroom. |

Hi Randy!
Just for fun I put a square crop on your photo and removed the heavier branches -- not sure it's an improvement as your original didn't need any! |

Looks great! Did you use a radiant mask on the trees? |

I had a similar reaction as Yvonne. It's difficult to see a wall-mounted water fountain without segregation coming to mind. That said -- I did enjoy the shadows and the dish for dogs.
In the category of "nits" I straightened the photo just a tiny bit... |

This photo is pleasing on so many levels and one that I am drawn to is the line of matching trees that bifurcates the image. I'm also drawn to the converging lines of the road and the river bank that meet at the triangular building at the far end. So much geometry and perspective. Gorgeous! |

This is an apt example of the artistry in monochrome photography. The timelessness quiet of the photo captures its purpose as respite from a hectic world and demanding relationship. I, too, enjoy the contrast between the stark lines of the sun on the bed juxtaposed with the laciness of the curtains.
A rare treat to see the space and you captured its essence well. |

It is an incredibly lucky and well-timed shot!
My only edits were to remove the orange construction equipment at the far right and the white car next to the boat on the left.
