The pathway does a great job of framing the tree and directed the viewer's eye. I like Jim's comment about a tad more saturation in the sky - some more contrast would add drama.
Great tree - and nicely done! |

Congratulations on a spectacular photo! The colors are vibrant, cropping is terrific, and the story adds lovely background! Would you mind posting the original? Also love to see how folks modify a photo. My guess is that this one didn't require a huge amount! |

Really liked your comment about not too much editing. I find in my own work that I can overwrought some images and will revert to original and just add a tweak or two and leave it be! (I'm a retired Presbyterian pastor and have been guilty of preaching an "overwrought" sermon or two…!)
So fun that the couple were eager subjects! |

OK - I've never seen an ice cube vending machine before and I've been around for a few years!
I played with some cropping and alignment and the building is tough to deal with and I think you did the best job.
Agree that the house on the right is a distraction however the decision about where to crop is not easy due to the concrete platform (old loading dock?).
What a great story and shot! I love that retirement allows for time to wander down rabbit holes! |

Yes…another overly conditioned American consumer recognized Ronald immediately. I assume it's the iconic yellow and the clown-like shoes!
It's a terrific photo - like the pitch black background and the hint of grass under the shoes.
Well done and thank you for adding a smile to my morning! |
