I like your comments -- and I wish I did try a faster speed. It was new to me and I was overly conservative. |

Hi Randy! I like this photo - and agree with Jim that I would have lightened up the foreground just to see more detail. I wonder about increasing some of the saturation on the sunset colors and adding a touch of vibrancy. That said - love the feeling and can even feel/smell the lovely sunset!
Look forward to seeing more! |

Hi Jim - I played with a crop and took some off the bottom and the right side to put the sun in exactly the 1/3 space and I liked it! What do you think? |

Looks very much alive - complete with a glint in its eye!
I think you did an amazing job on the colors - the flower palette matches that of the bug - very nicely done! |

I played with cropping some to focus on the gorgeous greenery and ignore the lone bloom. I couldn't get anything that I loved and the sole blossom really does tell the story!
I run every morning and it's all I can do to stay upright much less bring a camera! That said, I have returned with a camera when I saw something I wanted to photograph. |

One of things I'm really enjoying about photography is the mix between creative and technical. Your thunderstorm photo is a great example of that. I can picture you, having set up the camera, sitting back, perhaps with an adult beverage, enjoying the storm and then relishing the work your camera did!
Was there much post processing that you did? |
