9 Mar 24 Comment The LR work is really impressive -- by all of you -- and I like Sabine's first crop with the trim acting as the lower frame. The colors, especially the yellow tones, add needed (IMHO) contrast to the others.

I always looks forward to Jim's photos because he challenges me to get more aggressive with my own post-production!

9 Mar 24 Comment This is so fun! I have to try this! (not with 7 poses...)

I agree with Sabine but wouldn't have thought of it on my own -- the center figure to have a distinct and direct expression would tie the "group" together!

Incredible job!

9 Mar 24 Comment I walked by the Kimmel on Friday on my way to the ballet (I'm a total ballet nerd!) and was again struck by the design and elegance. As one walks toward the Kimmel, one is looking straight ahead at the Philadelphia City Hall with William Penn perched atop. (The statue is thirty-six feet tall and weighs more than 53,000 pounds.) The span of time, design, and development is remarkable and fun to explore.

I love all of the lines, curves, surfaces, and textures captured in the photo -- well done!

9 Mar 24 Comment Just to take a slightly different tack, I love the delicate nature of the painting juxtaposed with the harsh concrete overpass. I think of these types of murals done on very fragile paper or silk and then to realize that it's one of the most durable, sturdy, and unforgiving places humans can create is almost jarring -- but in a good way!

The boy adds innocence -- and again -- not a figure one might expect in that locale.

9 Mar 24 Comment First the silly thing that went through my mind when I read the second sentence, "wait -- did she pay for it or just take it home?" However it came into your possession, I applaud the decision!

My current assignment is "still life" so this is inspiring what can be done with 3 completely unrelated objects. Your photo creates a community of sorts -- a relationship between them -- and it's up to the viewer to determine the nature and content therein.

I do like that the filter wraps them together in a way that provides the structure for a relationship. Very cool!

9 Mar 24 Reply Thursday dinner was a delight. I cannot describe the house without excessive hyperbole! Suffice to say that it's 6,000 square feet and 3 bedrooms. The place is truly magnificent and built with all commercial systems, including an elevator. Mar 17th
9 Mar 24 Reply Wow! Love what you did!

As a very interesting twist of circumstances, I'm having dinner with the couple who now own the house on Thursday! I'll report back!
