I can imagine a conversation between the two of them. The one on the left, with wings spread, is getting the heck out of there clearly tired of the incessant squawking of the one on the right. The expression looks like on the left is glum and resigned and the one on the right is pushy and nagging. Not sure if it's "Come on - get moving!" or "Get me the hell outta here!" |

I always learn something from Jim's photos and am amazed at how the subtle manipulations so clearly change the picture. I'm also encouraged to spend more time playing around in Lightroom! |

This is so cool! I love the ingenuity and playfulness of marrying tech to create new art. I was reading today that incandescent bulbs are now relics of a time gone by (at least in the US) and are banned from manufacturing and sale! Poor Mr. Edison. I think he's smiling from the great beyond at what you've done with his invention! |

Your photo elicits sympathy for architects and designers. In my younger days, I worked for a hotel developer and we built beautiful boutique resorts in California. They were truly works of art -- only to be besmirched by a mid-level manager putting a typed or poorly worded sign up with Scotch tape. My eye went immediately to the number "2" stuck on the bright red door along with the security company sticker. Who does stuff like that?
My only change would be to get rid of the cable wire coming down the side of the house. Great eye to capture this! |

I'm embarrassed to admit how long it took me to find the 4 overhead lights that Sabine deleted! Felt like a "Where's Waldo" for a little while.
I'm a total sucker for geometry and symmetry and this photo feeds both obsessions. how cool to make it B&W as well. Great picture! |

I'm struggling to add something to this -- but the photo is frame-worthy! I love the lines of the pier, breakwater, lights that all culminate at the hut. It's really spectacular! Thank you for sharing -- it's inspirational! |
