9 Nov 23 Reply I used the DeNoise feature, straightened the horizon, and intensified the colors. Mostly I used the presets and automatic features of Lightroom! Nov 15th

9 Nov 23 Reply Thanks Sylvia - he does have an ambiguous expression as I look again. He's a complicated person in real life so it shouldn't surprise me! Nov 12th
9 Nov 23 Comment Your removal of nagging items is really good! I'm envious of your skill! I'm old enough to imaging Gomer or Goober coming around the corner in coveralls with greasy rags in their hands! Nov 12th
9 Nov 23 Comment The butterfly was extremely gracious to pose for you - and you did a masterful job in capturing its "best side!"

I'm been working quite a bit in Lightroom (both classic and online versions) and have yet to successfully remove an intruding image - as you did with the leaf in front of the butterfly. It's really engaging photo!

9 Nov 23 Comment Both constructions - yours and the spiders - are well done! The work in Lightroom adds to the spookiness, adding a ghostly quality to the backdrop. I really like this! Nov 12th
9 Nov 23 Comment I've been commuting to New York City for the last 4 months and spending a lot of time on trains - from large regional to smaller state-wide systems to the subway - so the yellow border against the tracks has extra meaning. There's a cautionary tale about getting too close yet it must be crossed to continue the journey. Additionally, I enjoy that the tracks curve in the distance - life's path is rarely, if ever, linear! 9 Nov 23 Comment Thank you for including the original. I was drawn to the somewhat carefree expression of the young couple strolling by oblivious to your subject. There's a juxtaposition that I enjoy about the facial expressions and attire. The couple in shorts and exercise clothing while the older woman has on a coat and gloves. Nov 12th
9 Nov 23 Comment I want to try macro photography and this is great example of why it's so intriguing. Love the tree-like structure of the mushrooms and the almost majestic caps at this size. Nov 12th
