Agree with all of the above -- cannot believe this is a first try!
I've been studying different shutter speeds and also bulb mode and am curious about any devices/gadgets that you used?

For fun, I cropped out the actual lighthouse and just left the reflection -- which gives it a window feel. I don't really know how I feel about it but since the reflection had so much detail and clarity, wasn't sure I needed both? |

Wow! If I'm seeing things correctly, not only is the mural a remarkable contrast to the older front elevation, but the mural also has a building painted into it giving the structure yet another face. This is a great picture that tells a terrific story about a city undergoing rebirth.
(I live 20 minutes south of Philly so I'm not impartial!) |

I once attended a party with someone who was totally dressed -- extremely stylish and craved attention for their flair. I was either red house on the side accompanying the fashionista! It's as though the Royal House is trying too hard and the bookends are just thinking, "whatever!" |

I spent a long time looking at this photo -- and at first agreed about cropping -- lots of land on the right side of picture. As I studied it -- I ended up appreciating the "bulk" on the side compared to the details and movement on the left.
The post production is beautifully done -- brings out the detail, especially in the river bank -- adds so much! |
