YES -- to all of the above! I think keeping the chicken slightly off center and looking back to the larger side is brilliant! The glance balances the space -- almost wonder what's over there.
Is F8 your "go-to" stop? I'm still learning a lot about my camera and I'm interested in how folks select settings. |

Grumpy, annoyed, or wary -- can't decide which emotion is most prevalent -- as these beasts are letting the view know they aren't a neutral presence.
I'm a total newbie about processing and agree that wanted the animals to be much more prominent. |

The plate of sliced lemons and limes proved provocative to me -- I just want to spritz some fresh citrus on the colorful artisan tacos! Looks lovely. It's not often a photo makes me salivate -- but now I'm hungry! |

I had a slightly different take on things -- because of the yellow saturation, my eye went to the poster of the man in the upper right who looks as though he's gleefully watching the street scene. His face is one of the very few things not in deep/bright yellow and so his is a more natural expression. This picture really provokes a story -- not just a setting or feeling -- makes me want to know "the rest of the story!" |

Loved the comment about "negative space" -- in my viewing of the photo, the river forms a giant arrow that leads eventually to the needle of the tower. Really enjoyed how things calmed down and culminated at the top of the photo. Now I have Berlin on my travel wishlist! |
