Randy, I'm surprised this building is still standing. On the left are computerized ice vending machines. I do like your crop with less distractions. I'll also try the black and white which may cut down the distractions a little more. Thank you for your comments. |

Sabine, I agree. The front of the wall is totally weird. I originally thought about waiting for someone to come in front of the building or posing someone. But for safety reasons, I don't like lingering too long in one place at night. In my next round of editing, I'll keep your comments in mind. Thank you. |

Jim, I value your perspective suggesting the loading dock telling a story. Shooting this building in an interesting way was a challenge. Especially choosing only one image to document the ice house. As always, I appreciate your editing instructions.

Linda, I agree that night is more intriguing. I shot the ice house during the day around 5 pm with a little shadow. The building looked kind of flat. Thank you for your editing suggestions.

LOL..only in Chicago. The crop was a tough decision because of the building's angles and I left the background building for perspective. I agree with you and Sylvia in taking out the distractions. Here's a photo of the side of building with a creepy door...weird. |

Randy, The tree looks elegant against the sky. The curved walkway echos the shape of the tree limbs. Can you make a wider crop to add more of the tree leaves. I'd like to see your original. Nice image. |

Jim, Don't toss it! The sun is an unusual color and the negative space on the right makes it artsy. I played a little taking out the color and darkening it . |

Slyvia, Wonderful shot with perfect cropping. The dark background shows off the flower's yellow and sharp detail. Great image. |

Linda, It's a gift to be able to work with strangers to capture such a special moment. I like your original photo. Do you remember how long you photographed the couple? |

Douglas, What a hard task! You picked the perfect setting. The tower is interesting pictured with the garden for dimension. I tried to bring out your sky, without much luck, to call more attention to the tower. Nice job. I like this photo. |

Sabine, A big smile was my initial reaction...thinking of a clown. Maybe it was the model stance with enormous shoes and too short pants with a too little suitcase. The shoes and suitcase frame Charly perfectly. Nice image for a travel advertisement. Very creative. |
