9 Aug 24 Comment Linda,Beautiful composition ! The colors are so vibrant. The green herbs and plate trim create the perfect frame . I can taste Harvest Happiness. I applaud your gardening skills . Aug 15th
9 Aug 24 Comment Linda, Monet? You're too kind . Full disclosure … the pond is not in my backyard. It's a nature trail that takes about 15 minutes driving . More scenic than my health club . Aug 15th
9 Aug 24 Reply I actually prefer the original. The colors are so vibrant! Aug 12th
9 Aug 24 Comment Jim, Correction...I picked up the camera after my run. 😋 I'll take your advise and experiment in Photoshop with other areas. Thank you for your comments. Aug 12th
9 Aug 24 Reply Sabine, I do like your image. Ultimately I need to get a closer shot of the flower. Thank you for comments. Aug 12th
9 Aug 24 Reply Randy, I agree that the flower needs a sharper focus. Regarding unexpected images, I may fall back to using my easy access iPhone. Thank you for your comments. Aug 12th
9 Aug 24 Reply Doug, Thanks for experimenting with the greenery. I understand about staying upright. That's why I stayed out of the kayak for a close up of the flower. Aug 10th
9 Aug 24 Reply Slyvia, Thank you for your comments. The trick is to jog first. Then get your camera out of the car. Aug 10th
9 Aug 24 Comment Hi Randy, Welcome to Group 9. I also like the soothing lines of the sunset. The colors in the sky float right along with the water. How about experimenting with saturating the colors in the sky. Not sure about altering your image by extending the sun ray's to the left shore to brighten the foreground. My preference is to not alter the true image. Beautiful variety of colors in the sunset. Love your image! Aug 10th
9 Aug 24 Comment Jim, Beautiful colors. The leading lines to the sun pull you into the entire image. The sun rays also draws your attention to the village. So peaceful. Aug 10th
9 Aug 24 Comment Sylvia, It looks alive and threatening! Nice job in composing Let's Get Close. The colors and textures of the flower and bug compliment each other. Aug 10th
9 Aug 24 Comment Doug, You aced this assignment. Great timing in capturing the right moment and details. The dirt flying with the players colliding shows a lot of action. Great action shot! Aug 10th
9 Aug 24 Comment Sabine, Impressive! Thank you for introducing me to interval function. You may have missed the lightening without it. Great shot. Aug 10th
